Laguillo Architecture is a studio based in Seville directed by Ignacio Laguillo.
Since the beginning of its activity in 2000, it has worked and built at very different scales for both private and institutional clients, the result of a long history and experience in the field of public tender, and with programs that range from private and collective residences, to equipment for the education or health system, spaces for public administrative and office venues, to sports venues and museums.
In their work, they seek to be strongly rooted in the vernacular. With an attitude of respect for the uniqueness of the places and for the natural or built heritage on which they intervene, they approach each Project as a multidisciplinary investigation, where territories and their culture, programs, technique or materiality are connected with tradition through a contemporary perspective that constantly seeks to illuminate other disciplines that are of interest to them.
As professionals, they are committed to the concerns of their clients, where the responsible management of their investment, their deadlines and the fulfillment of their programs are a priority for the team, seeking rigor and excellence in all processes. From there, they focus on ensuring that the scale and materiality of spaces and a sensitive treatment of natural light generate a warm, complicit and intimate relationship in everything that surrounds them.
