Located on the outskirts of the city of Seville, between the municipalities of Castilleja de Guzmán and Castilleja de la Cuesta, it enjoys a privileged position and views over the capital. Although the land on which it sits is located next to one of the speculative residential growths that so negatively completes the landscape of second homes in most of our cities.
In contrast to this model, an isolated block structure is proposed with features more typical of single-family detached buildings than of multi-family types. The arrangement of the blocks on the plot frees up the largest free surface available for the best enjoyment of the views and increases the separation between them, giving the complex great depth and privacy.
On the outside, the topography of the land is altered throughout its surface, forming a broken system of small dunes and trenches that provide the interior pedestrian paths and courtyards of first floor housing with the necessary space. In this way, the small cuttings and embankments carved in the green plane form a variety of rooms and interior places for community use but without compromising the privacy of the housing complex.
